Our Story at Kitarasa
Kitarasa Sdn Bhd is a 100% Bumiputera-owned company based in Selangor, Malaysia. Established on 7 December 2004, Kitarasa was originally known as Gerak Maju Sdn Bhd before officially rebranding in 2009. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted local name in food supply and packaging, with a strong focus on palm cooking oil.
In addition to food distribution, Kitarasa has expanded its capabilities to include its own fully operational cooking oil packaging facility, which began operations in November 2023. This strategic move enables the company to maintain full control over product quality, hygiene, and halal compliance — all from a certified facility in Selangor.
With a commitment to quality, consistency, and local empowerment, Kitarasa proudly serves retailers, food operators, and bulk buyers across Malaysia with halal-certified, Malaysian-made cooking oil.
